Welcome

The regional winners of the 2007 North East Business Awards have been revealed and includes many of the region's leading businesses.

We're biased, of course, but we believe the North East Business Awards are the strongest and most credible in the UK. There are at least 10 reasons to support this view:
The North East, perhaps more than any other region, needs to highlight and celebrate business success. Our economy relies upon winning, successful companies and these awards are an excellent platform to share good practice and to showcase the best companies that we have.

The Tyneside and Northumberland sub-region winners were unveiled at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, on February 28. Another black-tie dinner took place on March 6 to announce the Tees Valley sub-region winners, while the final sub-regional heat for Durham and Wearside took place on March 13 at Ramside Hall Hotel.

The finals were held on Thursday, May 1, at the Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield. This is the eighth year of the North East Business Awards, which are run by The Journal and its sister paper the Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough, in its revised format.
